Grandma and Papa Bauer have been in town visiting and today was the PERFECT day for a trip to the zoo! It was sunny and 65+ which is perfect zoo weather. This was the first trip to the zoo for Matt and Cadence (in addition to Grandma and Papa) so as the veterans, Adelaide and I got to show them around. Although, the last time Adelaide visited the zoo was about a year ago, so I don’t think she remembered very much. Regardless, we had a great time!
Our favorite exhibit was the Pacific Shores exhibit—specifically the sea lions. They were swimming laps in their tank and it was so much fun to sit and watch them while we were “underwater”.
