Summer To-Do List: The Boardwalk

The Bauer family has accomplished yet another item on our Summer To Do List! Wooo! Look at us go! On Saturday, we spent our afternoon/evening at the Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk!

We had an idea of what we were getting into, but we really had no idea how the girls would respond.

I envisioned an afternoon looking at all the rides, but then spending most of our time in the sand and water on the beach. It was the total opposite though! Adelaide and Cadence both wanted to go on EVERY RIDE! haha! Unfortunately, there were a limited number of rides that Adelaide was tall enough to go on, and even fewer that Cadence could go on, but we made the best of it and had an absolute blast!

We wound up staying much later than we planned (we didn’t leave the park until 9PM!!), because the girls were having such a good time and being so good! What a FANTASTIC surprise 🙂 Outings like these give me hope that we’re nearing the end of the baby stage in our household, and that soon, we’ll be able to do a lot more, for a lot longer, as a family!
