Since this is our first summer in the Bay Area, our summer to-do list is full of everything we can think of to see and do in Northern California. It’s not all-inclusive, by any means, but it’s what we feel our family will enjoy the most. Let me know if you have other places or activities to recommend!
Today, on our way to one of Cupertino’s coolest parks, we stopped by Apple’s headquarters so I could snap a picture of the girls. Adelaide recognized the Apple logo and yelled, “MOMMY! That’s the same as our computers!”. Such a proud mommy moment 🙂
Apple is such a huge part of Matt’s and my love story, and Apple products continue to be a huge part of our lives (it’s how Matt makes a living!) so it was important to me, and us, that we visit the headquarters for the company that brought Matt and I together, so many years ago.
This was my first time visiting the Apple campus since Steve Jobs passing, and I’m not gonna lie, I was a little emotional. The buildings, of course, look exactly the same as they did seven years ago, but knowing that Steve hasn’t walked those sidewalks in over a year made it feel different somehow.
I was super happy to have a moment, introducing my girls to the company that has so dramatically changed our everyday lives.
