This festive drink is perfect for your spooky Halloween party! Adults and kids alike will enjoy this fizzy, sweet and creamy drink, especially when it’s served in a poison cup with a festive paper straw!
The drink is simple to make, and would be easy to set up as a mix-it-yourself station (as long as your party guests are old enough for this responsibility!). You need three ingredients + cups, straws, and ice.
Add the green apple syrup to the bottom of the cup.
Next, fill the cup about half way with ice.
Then fill the cup with club soda. Be careful it doesn’t over flow!
Finish the drink with a tablespoon or two of half & half.
Then, for the finishing touch, add a festive paper straw!
Aardvark Straws reached out to me to review their paper straws, and I’m so thrilled they did. I had no idea that paper straws were capable of being so durable!
The paper straws I’ve used in the past, have always softened to the point they were unusable, within about 15 minutes of being submerged in my drink. These Aardvark straws remained firm, and drinkable for over 45 minutes! Our drinks were long gone before the straws went soft.
Aardvark straws are 100% chlorine and chemical free and FDA approved, so you can feel good about supplying them to your party guests. AND they’re biodegradable! They decompose in just 45-60 days, while plastic straws are among the top 10 debris items collecting on beaches and in oceans. Yikes!
Aardvark straws come in tons of fun colors and patterns, but if you can’t find something you like, you can always design your own custom paper straws! How cool is that!? Plus, they have the only bendable paper straw on the market!
If you’re for paper straws to add that perfect finishing touch to your party, definitely check out Aardvark Straws. They sell in packs of 24 for $2.99-$5.25.
