It’s August 1st and I’m kicking off my back-to-school month with this super fun kindergarten fashion post!
Back-to-school clothes shopping is so much fun, but it can get really expensive, really fast. My strategy this year was to find one or two quality (aka expensive & brand name) pieces and pair them with several less expensive items.
This is one of the designer items I found for Adelaide this year—a denim polkadot jumper from Tucker and Tate—paired with less expensive items found at H&M, Old Navy and Target.

Curtis School was built in 1914 and served children in the Greenwood Village area until 1967. The old school building has been moved from it’s original location but retains its original brick walls, decorative wood shingles in the gable ends, and stone trim. It now houses a community center for the arts. A perfect backdrop for these back-to-school photos!
I had so much fun taking these pictures of Adelaide! Fun tid-bit of info…the building in the background of these photos is an old schoolhouse in the Colorado State Registry of Historic Buildings.
