This is shaping up to be quite an eventful week! Did you get out and vote yesterday? I mailed my ballot in about a week ago, and over the weekend, Adelaide went with Matt to the ballot drop box. Though I’m not thrilled with the overall results of the election, I was excited to participate in my first Colorado election! There’s something about living in a swing state that makes me feel like my vote actually matters.

Yesterday, Adelaide’s school was closed so all the teachers could go out and vote. I decided to take the girls on an afternoon expedition to find some snow….and we managed to find a little! It was a fun outing and now they’re asking about when we’re going to get REAL snow so they can make REAL snowballs and build a REAL snowman. Hurry up winter!
