New Blog Design!

It’s been a few weeks, and I hope by now you’ve gotten a chance to check out the new blog design here at The Caterpillar Years!

This is a horribly ironic part of my life, where I spend HOURS and HOURS designing beautiful websites for friends and family and total strangers that turn into friends… but my own websites?

….*crickets*….

Earlier this year I FINALLY  launched BauerStudios.com. I still have A TON of web design and print design work to add to the portfolio section, but at least something now exists at that url, instead of a horribly outdated and vague “coming soon” message. (barf!)

It felt good to get the Bauer Studios site up, so I kept rolling, and completed the blog redesign I’ve been dreaming about for over a year now. I’m SO happy with the results!

This little guy might be my favorite part:

Do you have any idea how hard it is to illustrate a Caterpillar that conveys just the right message about a one’s website/blog? RIDICULOUS! I went through sooo many iterations!

Anywho…

Custom blog design is one of my favorite things to do—mostly because it’s an industry I actively participate in, so I’m acutely aware of trends and best practices.
