The girls in Adelaide’s preschool class adore the movie Frozen. One of them had a Frozen birthday party back in December, and since then it’s been non-stop “let it go” and “Elsa this” and “Anna that”. Their teacher even brought the soundtrack to school so they could listen to it during the day.
The girls all seem to get together in rotating pairs to play with each other, but since they all LOVE the movie and enjoy each other’s company, I thought, why not get them all together to watch the movie and sing and dance their little hearts out!? So that’s what we did today—Adelaide and I hosted a Frozen Movie Party.
I prepared some fun snacks and drinks—snowflake apple slices, snowman noses, popcorn and “frozen” lemonade.
People, this was so easy! You need a snowflake cookie cutter to make the apples, baby carrots and then a container of store-bought lemonade (I prefer Simply Lemonade) and a packet of KoolAid “Berry Lemonade” for the blue color (I didn’t notice any flavor difference). Popcorn is popcorn, but make it yourself, it’s too easy not to. That’s it! Seriously simple!
The icing on the cake was that we (the parents) arranged for Elsa to stop by the party and surprise the girls. They loved it! She was such a hit! She learned each girl’s name, gave them glittery stamps on their hands, read a story, sang Let it Go and like three other songs, danced, twirled, hugged and then took pictures with each of them. It was magical 😀
