Over the last two weeks, we moved into a new house, and my oldest made it through her first week of first grade!
Ya, we were busy…
But, she had an incredible first week! She loves her teacher, already completed an art project, lost her water bottle, joined a club, found her water bottle, made a visit to the nurses office for a playground related injury, and had to miss Friday for an ear infection. LOL! I’m pretty sure this is exactly what the rest of our school year will be like… 😀
We had a crazy hot weekend—the hottest so far this summer, so ice-cream was a must! These darling little paper straws came in handy for slurping up the ice cream that melted faster than we could lick it up. Yum!
Hope your school year is off to a great start! And, if you haven’t started school yet, know that I’m jealous, and soak up every last ounce of summer for me!!
