If you haven’t been able to figure it out by reading this blog…I love photos. I love looking at photos, and I’ve only recently, really enjoyed taking photos. I feel like, universally, having kids causes people to take more photos than they would in a life without kids, and I am definitely no exception to that rule. I love to look at really well taken photos, and if I could, I would hire a personal photographer to follow my girls around and snap amazing photos of them doing perfectly ordinary things. Unfortunately, I am not a bajillionaire, so the responsibility of photographing my little ones is left to me, and my little camera.
This past week, I have had the PLEASURE of borrowing a friend’s very fancy camera—a digital single lens reflex, or DSLR. Specifically, for all of you who like these details, it’s a Canon Rebel T1i. I have learned so much and the hands-on, try-it-before-I-buy-it time has been INVALUABLE! Not to mention it takes my photos to a whole new level!
The girls have been very sweet, and (mostly) willing participants with all of my photo-taking this week. Here are some of my favorite shots:
