These adorable mini pumpkin candles bring a warm, fall glow to any countertop, mantle, or tabletop in your home. And they’re so easy to make!
This project was featured in my Autumn Powder Room Decor post, but since it was so easy, and so lovely, I’m doing it again this year!
Step 1
Cut the top off a mini pumpkin. Then clean out all of the seeds.
Step 2
Melt the wax of your choosing—even plain-old kitchen wax works!
Step 3
Fill the pumpkin with the melted wax.
Step 4
Cut a short piece of cotton twine, and coat it in the melted wax.
Step 5
When the wax in the pumpkin has cooled slightly, insert the wick.
Step 6
Let the wax cool completely.
Step 7
Enjoy your pumpkin candle!
Note: The day after I made these candles, I went back and poured another layer of wax that completely covered the tops of the pumpkins, to help preserve them. I highly recommend doing this to prevent rotting!
