Cadence has been talking for quite some time now. “Mama” was her first word, followed quickly by “no” and shortly after by “dada”.
Very recently, she added a new word to her repertoire—”Cinderella”.
She pronounces it with a lot more vowels than are actually in the correct spelling, but there can be no mistake—she sees the doll, or a picture, and then says, “ah-woo-weh-wah”.
Sure, it seems adorable, until you learn that she can’t say her own sister’s name, but she can say, “Cinderella”. !?!??! *sigh* No one told me that Cadence would pick up more language from Adelaide, than she would from us, her parents. Can’t wait to see what she picks up next! …. 🙁
Here’s the video we captured of Cadence saying “Cinderella”
