Adelaide, like most 4-year-olds, is very creative, imaginative and hands-on. We’ve made an effort to have building activities available to help her explore her imagination and learn about basic engineering techniques. She loves seeing how things work, and as her parents, we are quick to jump in and ask her all of those important “why” questions.
When I first discovered the OGOBILD HUB kit, it was a no-brainer—Adelaide would love having these shapes and textures to build and create with. I picked up OGOBILD HUB for her birthday and it was love at first bug! You can create the silliest creatures with these interchangeable pieces and parts that all work off one central rubber ball. Daddy and I love creating bugs and cars alongside Adelaide, so we quickly outgrew the basic HUB kit. With over 90 pieces, OGOBILD NEXUS was our next purchase, and weekend mornings have never been the same!
As soon as Cadence goes down for her nap (or sometimes when she’ still awake) we get the “silly bugs” down from the high shelf and lay out all of the pieces and parts and watch Daddy and Adelaide go to town creating they’re latest silly bugs. Cadence mostly enjoys throwing the rubbery center balls around and watching them bounce. 🙂
OGO Sport creates tons of fun, active, creative toys and I highly recommend their line of OGOBILD toys for kids ages 3 and up! They’re available through Amazon and if you’re an Amazon Mom member, you can get free two-day shipping on your order along with a host of other discounts and benefits! Seriously, sign up to be an Amazon Mom and start making your life a little easier 😉
