Cadence’s 4th birthday is in a few weeks, so we’ve started planning her party. This will be Cadence’s first birthday party (in past years we’ve done small family celebrations). I gave her a few themes to choose from, and she settled on a rainbow party! (Eee! Yay! A party-planning mom’s dream!)
This week, the invitations are going out,and I’m SO excited about them!
Invitations seem to be losing their popularity in favor of less expensive electronic invitations, but I will always, ALWAYS send out paper invitations to my kids’ parties for one important reason…invitations set the tone for the party.
You get a lot of valuable information from an invitation—the date, time and place, yes, but also the party theme!
And a little part of me hopes that a gorgeous paper invitation like these ones from Minted, also communicates that there is a lot of effort and love going into planning this party.
Stay tuned for more posts in the coming weeks about all of our party preparations!
You can find these darling rainbow balloon invitations and coordinating thank you cards on Minted.
I'd love to hear what you think!
