I discovered Brother’s All Natural Fruit Crisps at my favorite indoor play space in Portland, Munchkin Playland, back in 2011. They sell lots of great snacks so I took a chance on some apple fruit crisps one day. It was love at first bite! That’s why Brother’s All Natural Fruit Crisps are the final item in my list of Back-to-School MUST HAVES!
Brother’s All Natural makes their fruit crisps by freeze-drying them, which removes 95% of the water from the fruit, transforming it into a light, flavorful, crispy fruit snack. My girls call them apple chips, because that’s what they feel like, fluffy chips made from apples!
These snacks quickly became a must-have in our pantry. They’re easy to grab for an on-the-go snack, and since they retain all of the nutrients of fresh fruit (minus the water), my mommy guilt can take some much needed time off 😉 I love that my girls can still have fruit to munch on when they’re in the car, or in the stroller and I don’t have to deal with the mess that accompanies fresh fruit!
They became even more valuable when Cadence was first exploring solid foods (not pureed) since she almost completely refused to eat fresh fruit (a texture thing) but she would chow down on these Fruit Crisps.
There are twelve varieties of fruit crisps, all of which are 100% freeze-dried fruit, nothing else! No preservatives, no added sugar, no colorings, and no flavor enhancers! Just a delicious, crunchy, healthy and convenient fruit snack.
Pear and apple are our favorites, but we also regularly buy the strawberry and banana. I haven’t yet, but I can’t wait to try the mango, peach and pineapple. YUM!
Adelaide’s favorite is the Asian Pear, and you can bet you’ll find them in her lunch box this school year!
The wonderful people at Brother’s All Natural are offering a variety pack of their Fruit Crisps to a lucky winner!! To enter, visit their website and tell me which variety you’d like to try. Then enter through the Rafflecopter form below. The winner will be announced next Friday! Good Luck!
