Hope everyone had a good weekend! Ours was simultaneously relaxing and productive and I consider that to be the holy grail of weekends!
Sunday morning was particularly fun—we did something I’ve been wanting to do for a while now. We drove the family out to Hillsboro (our old stomping grounds) parked the car at Peet’s coffee, helped ourselves to some tasty latte’s and pastries, and then walked to the nearby park. Adelaide got to run around like the monkey she is, Matt and I enjoyed some delicious coffee from Peet’s (there isn’t a Peet’s near where we live now…sad face) and Cadence enjoyed some fresh air and sunshine for her morning nap!
By the time we got home, Cadence was ready for a second nap and Adelaide was so worn out that she took a two-and-a-half hour nap!! That meant some serious quiet time for Matt and I which, by itself, is a weekend miracle!
I was enjoying myself at the park too much to take my camera out, but I did snap a photo of Cady napping and a video of Adelaide and Daddy on the slide. Enjoy!
